The Stations of the Cross
A Catholic Experience – An Ecumenical Event
The congregation at Old St. Mary’s invites our ecumenical friends and partners to join us for an observance of the Stations of the Cross, with prayers and images that depict the path of Jesus on the way to his crucifixion, Friday evening, February 23, at 6:30 p.m.
The Stations will be followed by a simple supper of soup and salad around 7 p.m., at no charge. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss the experience of the Stations while having supper.
The Stations are a Lenten worship service commonly observed in Catholic churches, but less well-known among other Christians.
Old St. Mary’s is located at 1500 S. Michigan Ave. Parking is available and the #s 1, 3 and 4 buses stop nearby.
