Catechists Make A Difference
The volunteers, who become Catechists, classroom aides, or program aides, share their faith & love for Jesus while teaching the youth of our parish as they grow in the Faith.
Many times we ask ourselves, “What can I do to help change the World?” One thing you can do is help children to know and love the Lord. You do not need a degree in Theology to help them learn about God. All you need is to share your love of God and have a willingness to serve others. Our Faith Formation team needs you. We need reliable adults enthusiastic about their faith and willing to help introduce God to the youth.
We are in need of volunteers for the upcoming 2018-2019 ministry year. We will provide you with the training, tools, and support to assist you in this Ministry. If the Lord is calling you to be part of this ministry, please call or email Maryellen at 312-922-3444 ex 26 or [email protected].
We need help in the following grades:
Kindergarten
4th grade
5th grade
7th grade
8th grade
We’d also need individuals to work the front desk.
The success of the Faith Formation of our children is due, in part, to the generosity & dedication of volunteers.
