A “Place to Grow” Capital Campaign
About the Project
The new facilities at Old St. Mary’s will be completed in three phases.
Phase I was the construction of the church. Phase II was the construction of our new school, and Phase III will be the new Parish Center and gym. Phase II of the project was completed in August 2011.
The new Old St. Mary’s School opened its doors on September 6, 2011 to 260 students. In September 2013, our student population grew to over 350 students.
Old St. Mary’s has a history longer than any Chicago parish with traditions of welcoming all who come, of faith and family, of educating our children in the Catholic faith, of reaching out to the community, and of building our future generations yet to be born. We believe Old St. Mary’s has an exceptional opportunity to preserve and nurture a strong, growing, diverse, and vibrant parish that will be a source of pride for the entire Chicago Catholic community.
We are a very blessed and fortunate faith community. We built this new facility for the parish and we will return some of the blessings we enjoy to generations of parishioners. Thank you for your consideration and future generosity.
