Faith lived in community
Old St. Mary’s is more than a place of worship; it is a community of people seeking to live out the Gospel through service, prayer, and fellowship. Several lay apostolates and organizations have a home here and offer opportunities to grow in faith, build relationships, and put love into action.
Knights of Columbus
The Knights are a Catholic fraternal organization committed to charity, unity, and service. Members at Old St. Mary’s support parish life through volunteer work, fundraising, and spiritual outreach.
Legion of Mary
This lay apostolic group is dedicated to prayer, evangelization, and works of mercy. Members meet weekly to pray the Rosary, reflect on Scripture, and carry out pastoral visits and other acts of service. The Legion of Mary meets every Friday evening on the second floor of the Petermann Parish Center.
Paulist Associates
Inspired by the mission and spirituality of the Paulist Fathers, Associates are lay Christians who commit to living the Paulist charism in daily life. They meet regularly for prayer, formation, and mutual support.
