A Worship Space Shaped by Faith
Designed by Serena Sturm Architects, the present church was dedicated July 21, 2002, and received the Association of Licensed Architects Silver Award in 2003.
Stained Glass
Cindy Kessler’s nave windows present Mary as the new Eve and Christ as the new Adam. The Eucharistic Chapel glass evokes wheat, grapes, the communion cup, open hands and an open heart.
Baptismal Font
The womb-shaped baptismal font accommodates adult baptisms by immersion as well as infant baptisms in its smaller upper pool—an architectural expression of new life in Christ.
Sacred Art
The sanctuary includes the Intimate Holy Family by Bramante Studio, a historic Our Lady of the Assumption sculpture and the crucifix preserved from the parish’s previous church.
Light & Scripture
The east- and west-facing chapel windows interpret Psalm 113: “From the rising of the sun to its setting let the name of the Lord be praised.”
