Catholic Imagination Conference

Dear Friend,

Along with a host of national cosponsors, the Hank Center for the Catholic Intellectual Heritage is hosting the Third Biennial Catholic Imagination Conference September 19-21, 2019. This is a major conference and we are delighted to host so many luminaries in one place and time. Tobias Wolff, Alice McDermott, Paul Schrader, and Richard Rodriguez will join over 80 other authors, poets, film makers, scholars, and students in what promises to be a rare and memorable gathering.

The Biennial Catholic Imagination Conference is unique in that it appeals to lay person and scholar alike.  Some sessions will appeal to more general readers and thinkers while others will pique the interest of trained scholars and specialists. Likewise, the plenary addresses (readings, conversations, and even a play) will have broad appeal. From students to book club participants, from scholars to artists and practitioners: the Biennial CIC has something for everybody and all are welcome!

Registration for the conference includes breakfast and lunch, all hors d’oeuvres and cocktail receptions, and theater admission to “Everything That Rises Must Converge.”

Register now, or visit our website to learn more. We hope to see you in the fall!
