Sunday Faith Formation at Old St. Mary’s is more than just a program for children – it’s an invitation for the whole family to grow in faith together. Rooted in our desire to build a stronger domestic church, our gatherings aim to nurture faith not only through learning, but also through prayer, worship, service, and community life.
We believe that faith is most vibrant when it’s shared at home, around the table, and in daily life. That’s why our approach seeks to engage parents and caregivers alongside their children, supporting them as the first and most important teachers of the faith.
Whether you’re just beginning or continuing your family’s faith journey, we’re here to walk with you—strengthening hearts, deepening relationships, and building a community where faith is lived and passed on with joy.
Our Sunday Faith Formation program (formerly known as Religious Education or CCD) serves as a vibrant space for children and families to grow in faith together. The program includes both Faith Foundations (for Pre-K through 5th grade) and Sacramental Preparation for First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation.
We meet on Sundays from 9:45–10:45 AM, offering a time that allows families to attend either the 8:30 AM or 11:00 AM Mass. During select Sundays while Faith Formation is in session, we also offer Children’s Liturgy of the Word at the 11:00 AM Mass – a special opportunity for younger children to engage with the Gospel in a way that is age-appropriate and meaningful.
Registration is now open for the 2025–2026 program year! Please click here to register your children.
