Domestic violence shelters need donations to help victims.
On Sundays during October 2019, Catholic parishes, organized by the Archdiocese of Chicago Domestic Violence Outreach, is sponsoring a collection drive of items for victims of domestic violence and their children living in local shelters.
At Old St. Mary’s there will be bins in the commons for your donations.
We will collect:
• Baby Diapers and Pull-Ups,
• Children’s new pajamas and socks
• Toiletries (full size) shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste & brushes, feminine hygiene products.
Parishioners may also opt to donate checks made payable to “Archdiocese of Chicago Domestic Violence Outreach.”
