Thanksgiving Food and Coat Drive

The Social Justice Committee is collecting non-perishable food items and youth coats for their annual Thanksgiving Food and Coat Drive which runs through Sunday, November 17.  Items collected during this time will be donated to the St. James’ Food Pantry and Communitario Juan Diego.

Donations can be dropped off in the collection bins in the Commons.

Suggested food donations include: stuffing mix, dried mash potatoes, macaroni & cheese, dry pasta, spaghetti sauce, canned vegetables (green beans, peas, carrots, etc.), canned sweet potatoes, and canned cranberry sauce.

There is also a need for dry cereal (large boxes and individual servings, crackers (especially in individual sleeves or servings) and hot cocoa mix.

Donations must be unopened and not expired.

For the coat drive, new or gently used and cleaned coats as well as new hats, new mittens and scarves—especially for youth—are welcome.

Thank you for your generosity!
