Old St. Mary’s offers Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLW) on select Sundays during the 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM Masses, when Faith Formation is in session. Dates for the 2025–2026 year will be announced soon.
CLW is designed for children primarily in pre-kindergarten through third grade. After the Opening Prayer, children are invited to gather at the foot of the altar and are then dismissed for their own Liturgy of the Word. They return to the assembly following the Prayers of the Faithful.
The Gospel of the day is shared in age-appropriate language, often accompanied by simple reflections or activities to help children engage with the message.
