This weekend, we are proud to honor Dr. Cozette Buckney, this year’s recipient of the Spirit of Hecker Award at Old St. Mary’s. Named for Paulist founder Fr. Isaac Hecker, this award is given annually by each Paulist parish to a lay person who embodies the Paulist charism of welcoming, inviting, and witnessing to the Gospel in everyday life.
To celebrate Cozette and all the award recipients from across the country, we’ll host a watch party for the Spirit of Hecker Awards on Saturday, April 26 after the 5:00 PM Mass in the commons. Help us celebrate this well-deserved recognition of Cozette’s joyful and faithful witness in our community!
